Karen Muehlbauer of Fairport, NY (formally from Williamsville, NY) peacefully entered into rest on August 9th, 2021.  She is predeceased by her loving husband, Michael.  Karen is survived by her children, Kate Cochran (Matt) and Kurt Muehlbauer (Danielle); grandchildren, Maddie, Arya, Lily and Juliet; sisters, Sandy Anderson and Shelley Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Karen was a devoted teacher in North Tonawanda for many years.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, her beloved cats, the Buffalo Bills and talking about her grandchildren to anyone who would listen.  She was one of the kindest and most giving people this world had to offer.  She will be truly missed by all that knew her.

As previously requested by the deceased, there will not be a funeral or calling hours.  She wanted her friends and family to remember only the good times.  She wants her loved ones to celebrate life and not focus on death.

Karen was a long-time donor to the Buffalo Hospice after the staff there took such wonderful care of her late husband at the end of his battle with cancer.  We would ask that if you would like to honor Karen with a charitable contribution, that you make it to the Buffalo Hospice in her name.
