Morgan, Christopher J.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Richard and Carlene Morgan, brother Alexander Morgan, grandmothers Janet Morgan of Florida and Alethea Bortle of Macedon.
Also survived by a longtime girlfriend, Danielle Crawford, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He is predeceased by grandfathers Richard Morgan Sr, Carlton Swarthout and Thomas Bortle.
Christopher lost his battle with mental health issues that ultimately lead to struggles with addiction on October 10, 2017. He fought the hard fight to accomplish long periods of sobriety and recently made many positive accomplishments that were firsts for him.
He was a smart young man with a sensitive soul and a tender heart who was fiercely loyal to all who knew and loved him. He had the best sort of quirky smile that could light up a room when he displayed his goofy side. He had a great knack for building and fixing things. He was a computer whiz, a video game expert and enjoyed his music. He liked the simple things and guarded his possessions passionately.
His dog, Duffy, was his constant companion for 15 years of his life. They are now reunited.
Christopher sought solitude a lot of the time and loved the great outdoors. Some of his favorite times were biking, skateboarding, building campfires and fishing.
His greatest accomplishments were finding love with his girlfriend and being successful in learning a new trade. He was proud to hold his job and was good at it. He liked being able to help others. He loved his family and friends. He was a shining light to many.
We will miss Christopher every day of our lives. He will forever be in our hearts.
