There are no words to express how much Tree will be missed. As a Lady of the QMA we shared so much, not just as neighbors but as friends and as part of each of our families. Our friendship grew as we watched our children grow into the fine adults they have become. Together we laughed and cried as we went through the changes the years brought, both the joys and the sorrows. The cruel devastation wrought by her illness only accented her grace and strength of character. She taught us all to never give up and to always stand for what you believe to be the right thing to do, even when all that is left you is your will and belief that there is hope.

We feel very fortunate to have met Teresa. She was a happy, hard working loving person who cared about many people. We will miss the wave from across the street and smile that always followed.. Rest friend. You will always be in our hearts. Love you.

I was Teresa’s 8th Grade English teacher at Mount Morris Central School in 1970-71. I remember her as a “model student” and a great example for other students in her class. It seems like these traits have continued throughout her life. My sympathy and prayers go out to her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
