O’Neil, Marie V.
It is with deep sadness the family of Marie V. O’Neil announces her passing at home in Fairport on April 26,2021 (what would have been her 74th wedding anniversary ) after a short period of declining health.
She is predeceased by her husband of 54 years James (Jim ) O’Neil in 2001. She is survived by her beloved children : Chris Scrivens-Cass (Kevin) of Pittsford , Steven of Rochester and Mark (Mary) of Essex Ct . Marie took great pride in her grandchildren : MJ (Natasha ) Scrivens of Pittsford; Shelby (Nate) Loiselle of Fairport; Jennifer O’Neil of Washington DC, and Mark O’Neil Jr of Washington DC. She adored her 3 great grandchildren;Aubrey and Lucas Loiselle and Sofie Scrivens
She also leaves nephews Joshua and Jonathan Mocny and their Mom Lin Bingo.
Marie lived most of her married life in Gates and their winter home in FLorida. After Jim passed she moved to Fairport NY to be closer to family
Fiercely independent, she lived on her own until 2 months ago when declining health required some (but very little assistance) She managed beautifully at 94 and was fun and had her witty sarcasm right to the end.
She will be deeply missed but we rest assured she is reunited with Jim and they picked up where they left off.
No prior calling hours. Friends are invited to join the family at Marie’s Mass at St John of Rochester in Fairport at 10 AM on Tuesday May 11.

Chris, So sorry to hear about your Mom. 94 Good for her! Your Dad and Mom are together again. I always enjoyed her great sense of humor! ?
I am happy I had the chance to know your Mom/Grandmother.. May she Rest In Peace and may all of her family find comfort in the many memories you keep in your heart.
