Born on April 12,1928
Mary fulfilled a beautiful life surrounded by her family and friends
Until she passed on April 14,2021 two days after her 93 Birthday She passed at home with loved ones by her side.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Fairport, NY
She was known to be a hard worker she worked at The Masonic Temple as a ticket collector,
Then the American Can Company, from there she went to Comstock Foods where she meet the love of her life, they were together 67 years and married for 63, but the job she loved most was being a mother to 6 children. There wasn’t anything she loved more than her family. She loved to laugh and share her many stories. Her passion was cooking for her family especially her Sunday Pasta. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend , who will be greatly missed .
Mary was predeceased by her parents Tito, Theresa Pittinaro , her sister Antoinette Langlois, and son in law Charles Harris
Survived by her loving husband Manuel (Mickey) Ortega
Her beloved children:
Frank (Eileen) Tucceri, Deborah Greene, Joseph (Dawn) Ortega, Tina Harris, Terri (Shane) Johnson
Mandy Ortega, Stepdaughter Irma (Cheo) Vazquez
Her precious grandchildren:
Ethan, Kimberly Greene, Valene, Chad Ortega, Donovan Freece, Brett Ortega, Tyler Harris, Tanya Fordham, Nicole Johnson, Angel, Brandi, Gianna Ortega
14 Great grandbabies who she adored and 2 sisters Theresa Loessberg, Bernadette Ketchum , many loving nieces and nephews
Calling Hours will be Tuesday April 20 4:00-6:00 at Keenan Funeral Home Pittsford Palmyra Rd, Fairport. A Funeral Mass will be held at Church of Assumption on Wednesday April 21 at 11:15

Oh Gram to say I miss you is an understatement. When you left you took a piece of me with you. I will always strive to be the Daughter/Sister/Mother/Grandmother you were. I just want you to know you were a LEGEND of your time. God Bless you and Rest with the Angels! ?

You always made me feel very welcome aunt Mary may you fly high with the angels pain free . But watch over you family more so mom I Ketchum keep her going strong with all she has going on !! My beautiful Gramma… who always called ME gramma ( and all of her other grand daughters). You were the light in our eyes, the stone in our pockets and and the food in our bellies. Thank you for being so amazing, caring, unconditionally loving and kind. You will be missed so much, and your legacy will repeat itself through the memories we have of your absolute humbleness. Thank you Grandma.

You were family… From the moment I was born. Your daughters and sons were my uncles and aunts. My mom talked to me like you were her own mom. You gave the love and compassion she needed. You raised.amzing children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You will forever be missed, but you memory will last forever.

Where do I begin….
My heart is aching and I still can’t believe you are gone. My childhood memories are filled with moments at your house. We were so lucky to have you live down the street and your door was always open. As a kid I had a paper route and you always offered me food, drink , potty break, or just a warm place for a quick chat to get me out of the weather . I will miss our baking sessions, especially because you never measured the ingredients ( “pour in more”)!! I will love and cherish all your stories and hold them all deep in my heart!!! I love and miss you!! Tell the family we miss them, and don’t let papa Pittinaro catch you out too late.
