BethEllen (Avery) Rothberg

Fairport; Formerly of Massena Passed away suddenly on 12/18/22 at age ​48.  Survived by parents Rodney & Sandra Avery; children Ryan & Natalie Rothberg; sisters Mari-Jo Daoust & Anne (Bruce) Truax; nieces Danielle (Luke) Caskinett & Samantha Tebo. 

Beth was a teacher at Midlakes Elementary School and a skating instructor at Rochester Ice Center.  In her spare time, Beth was an avid supporter of her children and was often seen at their scouting, youth hockey and theater events.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday December 28, 2022 from 10-11 AM at Church of the Assumption, 20 East Ave, Fairport, NY 14450, with a funeral mass to follow at 11:15 AM. A reception will be held following the funeral. Internment at Church of the Assumption .  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any of the following: Thomas Creek Figure Skating Club, Girl Scout Troop 63463, or Boy Scouts Fairport Troop 208.
