It is with great sorrow that we announce that Terri L. (Kahler) Stenglein, age 57, of Rochester, passed away on March 7, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Terri was born on December 17, 1965, to Richard and Bernice Kahler.  After graduating high school, she went on to work as a certified nursing assistant for many years caring for the elderly, a very appropriate career for such a kind, caring, and compassionate soul, and many were blessed by her care over the years.  The most important part of her life was her family and those close to her.  Loved by many, Terri had a sense of humor and a contagious laugh that would make anyone, both young and old, smile and laugh along.  One of the ICU nurses reported that Terri had her “in stitches” a few mornings before she passed.

In 2012 she met her partner, Todd Cannon, whom she loved dearly and spent the rest of her days on this earth with.

Predeceased by her mother, Bernice Hatfield, Terri now resides with her in heaven.  She is survived by her Father, Richard Kahler; sister, Tammy Lane; sister, Tania Beisheim (Rich); brother, Ty H. Kahler (Chanthy); nephew, Ryan Lane; nieces, Tori and Tara Beisheim; nephew, Trey Beisheim; niece, Tia Kahler; nephew, Ty R. Kahler, partner, Todd Cannon; and stepdaughter, Angelina Cannon.

A memorial service will be held at Koinonia Fellowship, 500 Main Street, East Rochester, on March 25th, at 11:00 AM.  Everyone is welcome and please join us for light refreshments downstairs after the service.

Terri, we thought of you in love today but that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday and days before that too. We think of you in silence, we often speak your name. Now all we have is memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, which we’ll never part. God has you in his keeping, we have you in our HEARTS. Heaven just got another ANGEL… You will be missed. Love the Cannon Family 3/23//23

Terri, now that everything has settled and we have celebrated your life, I’m left sitting here waiting for your phone call and the subsequent laughter. I’ll miss your concern and checkups to make sure everyone else is alright…even though you were not. I know you’re finally okay now…praising God for his gift that you finally accepted…see you again my sissy.
