Gregory Philip Voll passed away on March 29, 2022 with his beloved wife Amy at his side after a courageous 6 week fight in the Cardiac ICU 4-2800 at Strong hospital. We are eternally grateful for the incredible care and support Greg and our family received from the Nurses, PA’s, NP’s, and doctors. They were our family and friends when no one else could visit.

Greg was a loving Husband, Father, Grampy, Papa, Brother, Uncle, and devoted friend to all that knew him.

Greg is survived by Amy, his wife of 42 years, theirthree children Nicholas (Tammy), Julianne (Romulo) Braga, Christina (Chad) Bauer and six beautiful grandchildren- Eva and TJ Voll, Naomi and William Braga and Charlie and Easton Bauer, who were the joy and light of his life every day.  Also survived by his brothers Theodore (Bonnie) Voll and Steve Voll, many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends who loved their funny and loving Greg.

Greg was predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Helen Voll, his brother Tom, his brother and closest friend Peter, whom he missed dearly, his sister-in-lawCharron Voll and his furry companion, Kitty.

Greg was born in Rochester, NY on December 17th, 1954.  He attended St John the Evangelist School and Aquinas Institute and was always very proud of his Catholic Education. He received an Associates Degree from Alfred Tech and then completed his BA in Computer Science at SUNY Potsdam.

Greg married Amy in January of 1980 at St John the Evangelist Church. Their family grew and they settled into their home on Miles Ave in Fairport. Their 3 children were part of a neighborhood, in which everyone helped to support, watch, and love each other. They were blessed with so many wonderful friends and memories. These years were filled with much joy, celebrations, sports, and always lots of life.

Greg and his brothers, Steve, Tom and Peter, owned and operated Panorama Car Washes.  Greg’s location was on Scottsville Rd. After selling this business he found his next career as a Golf Service employee and Manager at Oak Hill Country Club. He found another world of friends that became part of his already vast loyal circle. His time at Oak Hill gave him great joy each day. He loved mentoring the employees and getting to know and serve the members.

Friends and family are welcome to join the family for his Funeral Mass at St John of Rochester Church, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM.  The Mass will also be livestreamed on the parish website. There will be a receiving line following the Mass. No prior calling hours. Greg’s burial will take place in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lollypop Farm or consider donating blood.  The gift of blood donations gave us the time we had together these past few weeks.  We are most grateful for everyone that takes the time to give this gift. Greg would want everyone to purposefully thank each person on your path today. Share a smile, crack a joke, give a hug.  Always say I love you.

Deepest Condolences. The Polish tradition is that the dearly departed be dressed in their best because they are going to a party in Heaven. God bless.
