Martha Elizabeth Williams

Matha, age 73, of Rochester, NY passed away Thursday morning, February 25th, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones at Rochester General Hospital.

She was born December 10^th, 1947 in Rochester, NY.

Predeceased by her mother Nona Whalen Williams, her father LeRoy Williams and her aunt Lorraine Whalen.

She is survived by her loving family. Her eldest brother Kenneth Williams, niece Dagny Williams, nephew-in-law Brendon Ayers, sister-in-law Amy Blaisdell, two brothers Michael Williams and Peter Williams, and several nieces and nephews. 

Martha was a special woman. She was Catholic and worked at the Department of Social Services of Monroe County. She held a special place in her heart for animals. She was a member of the Seneca Park Zoo for most of her life. She loved all of her dogs and cats (she had many). She enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, reading, horse races and car races. 

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Hill Haven’s Short Term Rehab and Rochester General Hospital for their excellent care these past five months. 

A service will be held in the early summer. Please refer back here in the near future for the service date and arrangements.
