Diane Capozzi passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26th, 2023 at the age of 83.

Predeceased by her husband Nicholas A. Capozzi, her parents George and AnnaBelle Pooser, her brother Yuel Pooser, and her sisters Claire Johnson and Paula Searles. She is survived by her children, Robin (Charlie) Uline, Nicholas M. Capozzi, Michael (Tammy) Capozzi, and David (Marlene) Capozzi; grandchildren Benjamin, Joshua, and Mackenzie Uline, Christopher Capozzi, and Justine Milazzo; great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Diane was born on January 15th, 1940 in Aruba. Shortly after, her family, originally from Charleston South Carolina, moved back to Charleston where she lived as a young child into young adulthood. She met her husband, Nicholas while he was stationed at Charleston Air Force Base during the Korean War. They were married in 1955 and moved to Long Island where they had four children. In 1972, the family moved to Fairport where she was a homemaker for years. Diane and Nicholas then moved to Victor in 1987.

Diane worked part time at Kmart in Fairport, and Victor. Diane loved cooking, gardening, and taking care of her family. She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Fairport along with her husband Nicholas.

Diane’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 3rd at 9:30 AM at the Church of the Resurrection (63 Mason Rd, Fairport, NY 14450).
