Coonan, Joseph P.

Fairport: December 18, 2016 at age 94. Predeceased by his parents and 2 sisters. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Lucile “Lucy”; children, Jeanne Coonan, Nancy (Dean) Licata, Betsy Parke and David (Molly) Coonan; grandchildren, Andrew, Corey and Grace Parke, Clarie and Claudia Coonan and Michael Licata; many nieces and nephews. Joseph was a graduate of the U of R and retired from Canandaigua National Bank and Trust. He served in the Air Force for 4 years as a P47 Pilot. His fighter group was awarded the Presidential Citation for outstanding performance on a mission against the Japanese on 13 August, 1945.
