Farinola, Patricia A. “Pat”

Fairport – April 29, 2018. Survived by daughters, Connie Farinola, Regina Farinola, Theresa (Tim) Elie and Patricia (Tim) Coyle; 5 grandchildren, Timmy, Michael, Taylor, Shamus and Shannon; nieces and nephews.

Pat spent most of her years taking loving care of her family. She was closely involved in the lives of her grandchildren and daughters. This is her legacy. She was active in her later years, often seen visiting her favorite places:  Canandaigua Lake, Skaneateles Lake, and Niagara on the Lake. She traveled overseas and was currently planning a cruise to Alaska. Pat had a quick laugh, Irish wit and always saw the sunny side of life. She made friends quickly, and had many friends that loved her.

She worked as a teacher at Childtime Children’s Center in Fairport, NY, before her retirement. She attended Empire State College and Nazareth with a BS in Education as an adult learner. Pat valued education, and was always educating herself. She read classic literature and was a proud Democrat, spending hours staying aware of current issues. She contributed regularly to charity, with her favorite being St. Judes.
