Fairport: “Aunt Jean” passed into the loving arms of the lord April 3rd, 2014. Born in Fairport Dec. 8th 1923 she was predeceased by her parents Frances R. & Gerald E. Flanagan, brother & sister-in-law James G. & Eileen C. Flanagan. Survived by her nieces & nephews, Mary Jo (Dennis) Mochnal, Gerald (Carol) Flanagan, Eileen (Stuart Diamond) Flanagan, Elizabeth (Timothy Fenity) Flanagan, Ann ( David) Whelehan, Margaret (Lee) Pruitt. 13 great nieces & nephews and 11 great grand nieces & nephews, cousin Mary Moe, devoted friend and fellow world
traveler Jean Shafer.

The Flanagan family would like to thank the staff at the Advent House 1010 Mosley Road Fairport, NY, 14450, for all the gentle loving care that was given to Aunt Jean. Friends may call Wednesday April 9th from 4-7pm at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home 7501 Pittsford -Palmyra Rd. Fairport-Egypt location. A celebration of Aunt Jean’s life will be Thursday April 10th at 11:15am at The Church of the Assumption 20 East Ave. Fairport NY 14450. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Advent House or Aunt Jean’s beloved Church of the
Assumption.

    Sorry to hear that your beloved Aunt Jean has passed away. Both Sue and I failed to catch the notice in the morning paper. On a recent visit to see her Aunt Marge who lives at St John’s Meadow we learned of her passing. Aunt Marge was a Bridge friend of your Aunt’s. She will surely be missed by all her friends at St John’s. Hope all is well with you and yours.
